The Cherokee County Child & Family Service Board assist the Department Of Family & Protective Services with the needs of children in their care.
These children receive a monthly allowance, initial help with their clothing needs as they come into care, quarterly clothing allowance, a Birthday allowance, and at Christmas each child is provided for in many ways.
The needs are many and the number of those in need is growing. Our county Commissioners help financially through their annual budget but this is just a portion of what is spent/actually needed. But, assistance from the community is needed and is always greatly appreciated.
